Mt. Lemmon
We took the kids to Mt. Lemmon this past weekend to see the snow. Its so funny how it is a balmy 70 degrees here at home and up on the mountain there is snow. Granted we are about 2000 ft and the peaks where we were are at about 8000 feet so I totally understand the logistics of it all. We had a great drive up and an even better time playing. Greg and the kids were soaked from the snow. I know jeans aren't the best but you work with what you've got. I would of loved to join in but was already having a hard enough time keeping my balance while walking that I didn't want to add to it so I was happy to be the camera-mom. We did start throwing snowballs, which the kids didn't really care for, but Greg and I had fun. The kids have been begging to go back again every day since. Today when I was driving them to school they pointed to the mountain and told me that is where the snow was so thats where we should be going. I was impressed they remembered which mountain it was (we live in a bowl surrounded by mountains, even if they are small). We have started planning a camping trip with them and they are way excited. Of course we are waiting until after baby comes and the weather to warm up a little on the mountain.

Looks like you guys had lots of fun, look at all those smiles! :)
That's one of the things we miss living it Tucson. We love Mt. Lemmon! It's so nice because it's such a short drive.
It looks like your family is doing great! Everyone is growing so fast!
How fun! I'm so impressed that you guys get out and do such fun activities all together. I would never think of going and hiking Picacho Peak, but it sounds like a lot of fun!
Love all the pictures. In my mind, I say take as many pictures as you can!! There is no remorse years ahead when you have so many great pictures of your kids!
