Temple Square

Here is our visit to Temple Square. We went right after the zoo. I know I must have been crazy to do that all in one day but the kids loved it, not to mention they were all exhausted at bedtime. So we went to both visitors centers, the Tabernacle, Chapel and the museum of church history right across the street. We had a great time! The kids were happy and pleasant. It turned into a beautiful day for weather especially after such a harsh, cold morning. When we went into the room with the Christus it was like someone had flipped a switch in each of them. They sat quietly and listened to the message, whispered (without my prompting) to one another and were in awe of their surroundings. We spent about 20 minutes there just sitting. Zach loved all the planets and solar system paintings on the walls. He is our astronomy guy. Needless to say we all had a great time. I want to take them around Christmas time now to see all the lights. Maybe...
