Old Tucson Studios

Being that we have lived in Tucson for 5 years now we decided while family was here we wanted to find something to do that even we hadn't been to. We hadn't ever looked into going here but decided it just might be worth it. Earl is a big western fan and these studios are where they have filmed hundreds of westerns. It is still an active filming spot so you just never know what you are in for. After checking out the rates we began to wonder if we shouldn't go somewhere cheaper. It does cost an arm and a leg to get in the door plus the food was a little pricy, even for the decent portions you get. However we had so much fun that it was all worth it!!! We spent about 7 hours there and it was wonderfully hot but just right. There were gun shows in the street, a can-can show in the saloon, shows around the park plus some gift shops and eateries. There was a haunted mine (great for the older kids 6+) and then the train ride, old time cars you can drive, carousel and the horse rides. All the rides are included in your entrance ticket and you can ride as many times to your hearts content. It was fabulous!!! For weeks all Adam asked to do was to go to the gun show and see the guy fall off the roof. I would definately consider season passes. *again due to my failing brain there are more pictures that I would love to share but forgot to get them from Chris so I will add them on later once I recieve them*
